26 Jun BYT and American History Museum Presents ‘We the Party People’
Saturday, June 18th PIXofDC joined Brightest Young Things and the Smithsonian’s National American History museum and partied like it’s 1899. Back then, affiliation with a political party included actual parties and with the joined forces they brought back these vibes with an exclusive tourist-free all-access party-time takeover of the greatest museum in the world.
Dress code was red white and blue as BYT and NAHM presented TED-Style lightning talks from: Jon Grinspan, curator and author of The Virgin Vote, Steven Olikara, president of Millennial Action Project,
Jessica Dahl, director of Impact Partnerships @ Brigade, and an Ailsa von Dobeneck cooking demo: The Plate of the Union: Curious Favorites of Presidents Past!
As a bonus the epic outdoor terrace was brought to you by REI OM Digital photobooth and Instagram printer with a
Face painter, Caricature artist, and Roaming perfomers. Finally, if you knew where to look you got to participate in the scavenger hunt with awesome prizes!
What an fantastic party and we can’t wait until the next one!
